About Mushloop Private Limited

Mushloop is a sustainable packaging startup that aims to replace styrofoam and single-use plastics with mycelium and agricultural waste.

About The Internship
  • At Mushloop, we are pioneering sustainable biotechnology by developing fungal-based materials and natural pigments as eco-friendly alternatives to synthetic dyes and plastics. We are offering an Extraction & Chemistry Internship for passionate students who want to explore the intersection of chemistry, biotechnology, and sustainability.
As an intern, you will work hands-on in our lab to perform fungal pigment extraction, purification, and formulation using natural and green chemistry approaches. You will assist in experiments, analyze samples, and contribute to optimizing extraction yields and pigment stability. This role offers practical exposure to bio-extraction techniques, solvent systems, and material characterization, preparing you for real-world biotech R&D.
You’ll collaborate closely with our core research team to translate lab work into scalable, sustainable products used in textiles, cosmetics, and packaging. Ideal candidates are from Chemistry, Biotech, or Chemical Engineering backgrounds, have a curiosity for innovation, and thrive in a startup environment.
Join us to be part of a mission-driven team shaping a circular, bio-based future with fungi!
